Event Details
The Riverside Theater welcomes former Milwaukee musician Joe Hite as he headlines his latest project, DAYBREAK - The Music & Passion of Barry Manilow. Hite, now a Florida resident, was signed by COPA Entertainment to perform this spot-on tribute to Barry Manilow and is backed up by an eight-piece band that recreates the music to perfection. This show will also mark the on-stage reunion between Hite and Tony Goff whose 52nd Street band will also perform. Hite is a former member of 52nd Street as well as other Milwaukee bands The Boogie Men and Ordinary Heathens.
Barry Manilow is considered by many to be one of the most successful pop artists ever and became an international star with a string of hits combining heart on the sleeve sentiment, with lyrical pop craftsmanship and a slick, highly orchestrated production. Barry Manilow recorded and released 51 Top 40 singles including 13 that reached number one.
DAYBREAK - The Music & Passion of Barry Manilow brings to life timeless classics like “Mandy”, “Can’t Smile Without You” and the foot stomping rhythm of “Copacabana” just to name a few. You won’t believe your eyes or ears as this amazing tribute takes you back to the 70’s on a musical journey to experience Barry Manilow’s greatest hits the way you remember them while keeping his music alive for generations to enjoy.
