A national competition unlike any other, the annual Mr. and Miss Trans USA Pageant features dozens of representatives from across the country vying for one of the most prestigious titles in LGBTQ+ pageantry today. In addition to live entertainment from some of the best performance artists in the industry, attendees of all ages are invited to cheer on our delegates from each state/territory as they compete in on-stage categories including State Costume, Formal Wear, Swimsuit, and Q&A. Immerse yourself in the complete experience of pageantry at the national level with our gala-style theme (Color Vision) celebrating the full spectrum of transgender lives and experiences as we honor Dylan B. Dickherson White and Marisol Trevino, Mr. and Miss Trans USA 2022, for their exceptional advocacy work and visibility during their reign!

About Mr. and Miss Trans USA

Founded by Gerardo Chavez and Luis Perez, The Mr. and Miss Trans USA National Pageantry System is a registered 501c3 organization that strives to celebrate and promote the development of transgender, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming leaders as visible advocates and role models.

The primary function of each national titleholder is to serve as an active representative of the community; maintain visibility as a positive role model for trans youth and the community at large; and engage in opportunities that promote productive discussions at multiple and often intersecting levels. Trans USA is not a drag pageant, and performances are not required. Each representative should aim to embody these roles in the ways most appropriate and authentic to their personal and professional life. Our titleholders have consistently gone above and beyond to effect changes in the sectors of public policy, healthcare, and social justice via their nationwide travels and advocacy initiatives.

Mr. and Miss Trans USA does not operate for profit, and all money earned each year goes directly to supporting the community projects and advocacy efforts of our titleholders. For this reason, we welcome those wishing to support our mission via full or partial event sponsorship, as this will allow us to devote more of our operational costs to promoting these advocacy initiatives. We believe that this is especially important given the increased backlash and violence against the transgender community in recent years, especially in rural areas and against transgender women of color.
