According to Irish mythology, Samhain (sa-win) is the halfway point between the autumn equinox and the winter solstice. It is a time when the 'doorways' to the Otherworld open, allowing supernatural beings and the souls of the dead to come into our world. Our modern American Halloween is rooted in these ancient myths and legends. Let’s join the faeries, ghosts, and wandering spirits, together, in solidarity and celebration of the madness and wonderment of life. And the start of the winter season. Come young! Come old! All ages of people are welcome to participate.
Costumes are very highly encouraged. There will be a costume contest. Winner gets prizes!
