Chicago Farmer and The Fieldnotes

Cody Diekhoff, better known as Chicago Farmer, grew up in Delavan, Illinois in a small-town farming community. Diekoff gets some of his inspiration from his grandparents, who were farmers. Their values and work ethic have provided the baseline to much of his music. Profoundly inspired by John Prine, he’s a working-class folk musician to his core. He writes his music for “the kind of people that come to my shows.”
