Local Businesses Gear Up for a Record Store Day Celebration!

Trying to keep this year's Record Store Day activities straight? We've compiled a big ol' list of participating Milwaukee businesses to help you plan your day! In addition, we've partnered with several to give you exclusive and fun goodies while you're out and about on Record Store Day!

#1 - Lilliput Records - 1669 N Farwell Avenue, Milwaukee WI, 53202

Lilliput Records have launched custom Lilliput lighters and rolling papers for Record Store Day. (which also happens to fall on 4/20 this year) The first 50 people at checkout will receive these items and they'll be available for purchase starting on 4/20 with plans to keep them in regular rotation in the future - Lighters will be $3.99 ea and Papers will be $5.99 ea

#2 - Rushmor Records - 2635 S Kinnickinnic Ave, Milwaukee WI, 53207

Rush Mor will begin the day opening at 8AM with a Bake Sale happening at 815 East Potter Avenue (outside of Rush Mor)

Here's what else you can expect:

• Mini Market with vendors outside Beth Eaton Pottery from 11AM-3PM (weather permitting)
• Special LIVE appearance by Milwaukee's NEWEST (and maybe youngest) musical outfit PARANORMAL at 2PM
• A FREE with $25 purchase commemorative RSD t-shirt designed and created by Carl Steinhagen and local screen printers The Factory (while supplies last)

#3 - Volta Records - 5026 S 74th St, Greenfield WI, 53220

Volta Records will be open starting at 8AM on April 20th and will be hosting various sales, deals, and giveaways on Record Store Day this year.

• 25% off preowned music and movies ($29.99 and under)

#4 - Irving Place Records (Formerly Bullseye Records) - 1627 Irving Place, Milwaukee WI, 53202

Record Store Day will be Irving Place Records OFFICIAL grand opening! In the location of the former Bullseye Records (and owned by former employees), this is an East Side staple you won't want to miss. They'll be open starting at 9AM, so make sure to set your alarms!

In addition to having RSD releases they'll have the following:

• 10% off new and used vinyl (excluding RSD titles), 30% off used CDs and 80% off all 7" singles
• Chef David Flores grilling up hot dogs
• Stop by Comet Cafe before shopping - bring your receipt from Comet to Irving and get $1 off your purchase! (same day only)
• Free Irving Place Records stickers with all purchases (while supplies last)
• A large selection of new stock - both used and new
• New T-Shirts for sale, and free stickers up for grabs

#5 - We Buy Records - 904 E Center St, Milwaukee WI, 53212

We Buy Records is located in the heart of Riverwest and they're worth the stop! They'll be open from 12PM-4PM (nope, you don't have to wake up early for this one!) 

Check them out for:

• A huge amount of RSD releases at their Riverwest Shop AND at their new satellite shop inside Fermentorium in Cedarburg
